Sapporo Odori underground space sign renewal

Sapporo Odori underground space is the center of Sapporo city. All signs were renewed as a part of rich environment design. 3 Square signs with one side 20 to 25m in length made symbolic zones to secure safety and convenience as well for both resting and passing through people.

Outside faces of the center square consist of right and left directional signs such as subway transfer information and exit information.

Inside faces of the center square consist of forward directional signs. The representative landmarks and four bearings are indicated for tourists.

The south and north subway concourses are also enclosed by square signs; the entrance information on outside faces, and the exit information on inside faces.
