JR Osaka Station greeted the grand opening on May 4, 2011 as a new name "Osaka Station City" combining with the South and Nouth buildings after large-scale improvement. The signs outside of the ticket gate keep their visibilities while using the same layout as their commercial signs. The signs inside of the ticket gate introduce their railway line colors in the signboards.
